Jump Cut tops 50! Plus, see more short films online!

Well, Jump Cut has topped the 50-download mark, so we're on our way! Podcast Alley has yet to add our podcast to its directory, but I have submitted info about it to Adam Curry, the "inventor" of podcasting, at Curry.com, as well as Father Roderick of Catholic Insider Radio, one of the most interesting podcasts out there. Listen in to his March 8th episode. He takes us on a soundseeing tour of his Holland church and the choir you hear there is breathtaking!

Anyway, in movie news, I received this from Apple Hot News earlier today:

"Delta Campus MovieFest Atlanta, the world’s largest student film festival, found huge success this year with hundreds of short film submissions. Over the course of one week, thousands of students worked in teams to create storyboards, film and edit short films using Apple iBooks and iLife software. Hosted at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, the final celebration of Campus MovieFest attracted more than 3,000 participants to honor the 200+ musicians who participated, the top 15 movies created and highlights from hundreds of other movies. See the winning movies and photos from Fox Theatre."

Click here to learn more and watch the short films. You'll need QuickTime to watch the movies. I highly recommend "What Mocks a Good Movie," which tells its story entirely in LEGO. I also recommend "a different perspective" in which a man's life is literally taken over by a singer/songwriter's compelling lyrics.
